Terms of Service

ShootWrap is a workflow tool for professional photographers. It imports shoots into your own Google Drive, hands them to the editors you choose, collects their edits for your review, and delivers private client galleries. It also includes a public marketplace where people can find photographers.

ShootWrap is in early access. Features may change, and things may occasionally go wrong while we improve it. Your Google Drive is the home of your files, and keeping a backup of important work is always good practice.

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Keep access to your email and Google account secure, and tell us at sjphotography.us@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account.
• Editors use ShootWrap on behalf of the photographers who invite them. Photographers decide what each editor can see and do.

ShootWrap stores your original files in your own Google Drive, using a ShootWrap folder that it creates. Google’s terms and storage limits apply to your Drive. If you disconnect Drive, revoke ShootWrap’s access or run out of Drive storage, uploads, editor handoffs and downloads stop working until it’s fixed. Files already in your Drive stay there.

You own your work. Your photos, videos, edits, gallery designs, profile and messages (“your content”) stay yours.

You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run ShootWrap for you. That includes making thumbnails and previews, showing galleries to the people you share them with, giving files to the editors you assign, and showing your marketplace profile publicly if you publish one. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short-lived backups and anything the law requires us to keep.

You confirm that you have the rights you need for everything you upload and share. That includes your clients’ and models’ permission where it’s needed. You also confirm that your content doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.

You choose who sees what. Anyone with a client gallery link can view and download that gallery, so share links only with the people they’re meant for. Photographers are responsible for their arrangements with their own editors and clients, including pay, deadlines, contracts and usage rights. ShootWrap isn’t a party to those arrangements.

Marketplace profiles are written by photographers. We don’t check their claims, and we don’t endorse any photographer. Enquiries go straight to the photographer, and any booking, payment or dispute is between the client and the photographer. Don’t use the marketplace or enquiries to send spam, harassment or misleading information.

• Plan. The Founding Member plan is $19 per month, billed monthly through Stripe, plus any taxes that apply.
• Free trial. New subscribers get a 14-day free trial. One free trial per photographer. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and the first payment is taken.
• Renewal. Your subscription renews every month until you cancel.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time from Billing in ShootWrap. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
• Founding Member price. Founding Members keep the $19 per month price for as long as their subscription stays active without a break. If we ever change prices for other plans, we’ll tell you in advance.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may pause features that need a subscription until it’s sorted out. Your files in Google Drive are never affected.

Don’t use ShootWrap to:

• Upload or share anything illegal, including content that sexualises minors. We report it to the authorities.
• Infringe someone’s copyright, privacy or other rights, or share people’s images without the right to.
• Harass, spam, or mislead people.
• Break, overload, scrape, or try to get around the security of ShootWrap, or use another person’s account.
• Resell ShootWrap or copy it to build a competing service.

You can stop using ShootWrap at any time. To close your account, cancel your subscription and email sjphotography.us@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or ShootWrap at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Closing an account doesn’t delete the files in your Google Drive.

ShootWrap is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond what these terms say: for example, that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or right for a particular purpose. We depend on services like Google Drive and Stripe, and we aren’t responsible for their outages or changes.

As far as the law allows, SJ Photography isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business, or lost data you could have kept a copy of. Our total liability for anything to do with ShootWrap is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that come from it, as far as the law allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them somewhere else. Before going to court, please email us. Most problems can be sorted out quickly.

We may update these terms as ShootWrap grows. We’ll change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use ShootWrap after that means you accept the new terms.
